Yo #bitcoin #nostr #plebchain #rebels #privacy
Iโm still looking for any recommendations for a good book on digital privacy/data privacy.
What is the โBitcoin Standardโ of the digital privacy space to get me goin down that rabbit hole?
Many thanks ๐๐ซก

Check the book softwar this is absolutly mindblowing
I'm not sure about a book, I'm not sure if there IS a holy grail, maybe nostr:nprofile1qqsyawyrzrttfmv4cmtx5w2m85702kdct7hv3amfrkhagpdf9cz46mgprpmhxue69uhkv6tvw3jhytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0qyghwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tcpydmhxue69uhkv6tvw3jhytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuef08ankcmmzv9kr6ctvds20l3q3 can recommend one.
But I highly recommend following Rob Braxman Tech & NetworkChuck to ramp up your knowledge in these domains.
By Jason Lowery?
Read it. Mind blowing indeed.
I guess Extreme Privacy by Michael Bazzell

Many have forgotten to understand such important books because they have been forced to read other things, but in the end it is simply the reality that many unfortunately close themselves off from because they are afraid of change, yet it will happen! I thought he made a strong point when he mentioned that bitcoin was his first approach as a money substitute but that is far from being the primary use case in the future, it's the hard truth

Had a short look at that once upon a time and deemed it all too much effort . Privacy hard
Privacy breaking convenience
I personally never read it but it's often mentioned as reference in various podcasts
Wait, are you naming a different book to check out? Thought you were but can't find it
No๐ was misleading written.
I wanted to say using privacy tools means breaking with one's old habits
For sure. But it's like, you start by buying a phone cash, park your traceable car far away and walk there, avoid cameras, connect it to public WiFi to set it up somewhere, on and on. And mess any one step up and house of cards.
At least that's what it feels like if you're going for max privacy. And that's just tip of iceberg. Impossible for me ๐ฎโ๐จ
I try to do some things and others are to hard to do for me as well. Perfect privacy is nearly impossible. Once I realized that I'm doing it with the advice in mind: don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
You don't have to maintain absolute secrecy. It's not an on off switch. Privacy is the act of selectively revealing yourself to the world. If your telecom operator knows your location, doesn't mean everybody else has to
Yeah. That's kind of where I'm at. Just common sense anon stuff. Not really trying to remain anon from state or large powers, cuz near impossible and honestly waste of effort for most. Could probably stand to be a bit less lazy about it though haha
The Art of Invisibility by Kevin Mitnick is a great primer from a man who has had to be invisible for real.
