So sad to walk into an Asian or Mexican market only to find that 99% of everything there is some kind of poisoned mutated package of a once authentic cuisine.

This is all “grocery” stores in 2025 AD
These shops are supposed to provide genuine cuisine. If not then why do they even exist as distinct? I know I can buy poison anywhere.
If I ran an Italian shop it would be authentic Italian foods. Not neon bags of poison called "pasta"
Family company making fresh original product, big international corp. hands family big fat check of fiat with lots of zeros. Corporation replaces fresh part with cheap seed oils and high fructose corn syrup and expands around the world using big money marketing. Rinse, repeat and do all over the world to get what we have to today in most grocery stores
The way in which whole groups have handed their children trash when their grandmothers made it by hand from scratch is a total betrayal to the youth.
