Power was out all day yesterday in Portugal. With no internet and no way to work, people came outside—chatting, checking in. The energy was lively, but also calm and connected.
How interdependent we truly all are really stood out to me.
At night, the stars were unreal 🙌🏼 No light pollution, no hum of machines—just stillness and spacious silence. It was beautiful—very grounding.
Also, it was kind of hilarious watching people stumble around their homes with flashlights 😅
When the power came back on, different parts of town were cheering.
Defiantly very grateful I wasn’t stuck in a train or an elevator 🙏🏼 I know it wasn’t easy for everyone; I'm grateful to have had a beautiful day.

I've always liked power cuts might just turn the power off in the house once a week 🙏😂
😂🧡
Well-played.
Even so you are probably better off out of Canada. FYI - I am in Palma de Mallorca - we had no power outage since the Balearic Islands have separate power arrangements (Sovereign individual theory in action?). Anyway, I'll be off to Madeira in September - looking forward to that!
