1999 just before the tech-wreck and a Nasdaq bloodbath of -80% Ah the good ol' days. Are we today in a rhyming time warp, where AI is the new "Net" and current high-flyer public company valuations are based on this new AI frontier? Is Open AI, Yahoo and Anthropic, Amazon? How about Nvidia as the 2026 version of Cisco? There are parallels. Nah... "this time it's different" says every overhyped, overvalued bubble. Take away: That same war is still going on for the soul.
