For breakfast Iβve been making these high protein pancakes with a few simple ingredients (and no protein powders :))
When made with non-fat yogurt, this recipe makes 2 servings with ~27g of protein, ~40g of carbs, ~5g fat each serving
Staple ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats, blended into a flour (I use sprouted organic oats from one-degree organics)
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 eggs
-1 cup plain Greek yogurt (I use nonfat)
- 1-3 tbsp milk (or water)
To taste add:
- vanilla (I use 1 tsp)
- cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- maple syrup (I use1 tbsp)
I mix the dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately, then combine.
I then cook these on a cast iron skillet with a bit of nostr:nprofile1qqsfnnh6v3dspqtnwv3e46aed5k3nypyfx2wtet92ekg9szt3hr9k4qpzfmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2ucprfmhxue69uhkummnw3ezumt9wdekzem9wp6hx6pwd9hs7ca56m but you could also use coconut oil (I donβt recommend butter because it will burn)
Top with some bananas, maple syrup, and butter if you wish (not included in the macros above)
