Looks like we're going to see the Lightning Network split between the LN-MTN - Money transmitter Network, the wider clearnet network and the tor network. Probably going to force nodes to KYC to get access to that sweet sweet stablecoin routing fees View quoted note →

Lightning Labs want the state to crack down on the Lightning Network with the money-transmission and KYC-hammer so they can get the first license to transfer money via Lightning and effectively own the network. They don't want to serve in heaven like the rest of us, they want to rule in hell. Hack 'em to bits before it's too late.
