trying out the new amethyst it's slow on the first minutes of using the app then it gets pretty smooth, is that expected? will the slowness return if I restart it tomorrow? is there some kind of local sync happening?

ok I've restarted it (after disabling tor) and the slowness returned, and the feed took a while to load
so I assume amethyst is not storing anything locally?
