It's a way to turn websites into standalone App, some websites support that feature. You can turn them into app on any operating system, what device are you using?

That's because iOS/Safari WebKit doesn't support extensions in PWAs. You can use it on PC, Android, or Mac, but extensions don't work on Safari and iOS. I am looking for some solutions, but there will be compromises :(

Is the memory for the PWA separate from the browser it's tapping in to? Also, if I download it via kiwi will my nos2x extension be able to work with it?

Yes, your extension will work if you trun it pwa using kiwi, same with pc, mac & Linux, except Safari/IOS
