The cure to using spammy relays is to not use spammy relays.
This is an intelligence test and some people are failing it. They weren't ready for #Nostr.

I'm not smart enough. ๐
People shouldnt need to pass an intelligence test to be on nostr
Failing on purpose until users don't have to lift the hood to drive.
That may be true, in the mid-term, but they need to pass it to be on Nostr _now_. I have said, repeatedly, that we are not a production-ready environment. This is something for early adopters, who have a high level of tolerance for frustration, who don't mind rapid, dramatic changes, and who can follow simple, technical directions.
Some people need a sticker on their candles, so that they know that they are flammable. We're not ready for the Candle Sticker people.
tbf, this is what I did. I removed relays that were attacked by the spammers until it is fixed (short-term). I have also added WoT relays. I stopped using #Yakihonne client atm because their relays have been affected too even though I kept reporting the issue. This seems to work for me. ๐ค
Fair enough. I guess what you said is accurate!
the candle sticker is meant to protect the candle maker from liability. it is not that people are so simple they didn't realize they were playing with fire, but that they sought compensation from the maker when things burned.
but it is easier to assume stupidity.

I'm not. I just don't get it.
What client are you using?
Change the relays to only TheForest, nostr.land, and Damus, and then see how it is.
Always amethyst. Nearly never nostrudel.
Doesn't matter. Amethyst let's you adjust the relays.
no, but i'd love to know why you think i might be.
a personal failing. but i would also like to point out the general Nostr trend of ableist dismissal, and the general disregard for out-group experiences.
No, I meant adding and deleting.
