Nostr Plebs is an easy way of getting a NIP-05 identifier/Nostr Address and other Nostr services, made by Bitcoiners, for Bitcoiners.

it's a human readable format for your public key. it allows you to be identified as this Ocean over that Ocean, since nostr addresses are unique.

Darn, I don’t have enough sats yet. I’m new here. But I’m slowly getting some :-) The #nostr family has been so kind to me by zapping my posts. I added the relay. Will the relay work even if I don’t have an address?

the relay works for you to read from it, but you cannot write to it until you're a "member". nostr and plenty of public relays available for you to use though. keep creating content and when you've earned enough sats you can use those sats to pay for nostr services such as relay access, nostr address services, and more. welcome to nostr and thanks for helping build the value for value economy!

Gotcha! I just learned something new. Read vs. write and Nostr services. Thanks for replying! And thanks for welcoming me! I plan to contribute more in the future. I’m not familiar with many of the technical aspects. So, I’m in the learning/reading phase for now. It’s a lot to take in! It’s a new frontier. In the meantime, I’ll post other content I hope the #nostr family will enjoy. πŸ«‚
