Top with the green word. The color green is inviting and the face expression makes you look like you serious about the topic. Bottom with the word in red. Red is not inviting. Red means danger. Your face expression, you have a slight smirk with a smile. Doesn't look convincing for the topic.

Top thumbnail, for sure. As others have already mentioned, the green (neon green) is inviting and sparks interest, while the red color could imply something else. It also depends on the topic. The green here represents how far someone is willing to go to earn something, whereas red can give the impression that the fight is already lost. The same goes for the facial expression in the first thumbnail. Hope that helps ~
