New here. I’ve tried following people several times now in @primal and none of them stick. Am I pushing the button wrong? #AskNostr

Just tried following you in primal. I had to tap the follow button twice for it to take.
If you're following someone the button in their profile will say unfollow, so I guess tap it until it does.
Thx. First tap to follow you back: button changes to Unfollow, profile says I’m following 0. Second tap: button changes back to Follow (following 0). Third tap, back to Unfollow (following 0).
Are you using desktop primal or the phone app?

With the web app, the follow button stays follow. It never flips to unfollow.
Try going into settings > first aid in damus. Should fix it
That seems to have done it! Some kind of issue with getting a new account off the ground?
where did you create the account? if the contact list fails to send to the relays for whatever reason an account may get stuck initially.
Not 100% sure, but I think it was the Primal web app.
