We're all different, but something that helps me get out of a 'funk' is a hard workout, a hike, a cold plunge...something to focus the mind on a realistic and achievable task--and see its accomplishment. Or read something that lifts me up and out of my circumstances. Whatever your thing is...hang it there, keep moving, eventually your mind will catch up to your momentum. 🤙🫂

Thanks brother. You’re right though, I need to put in some work on my body. I did a really great workout last week and it helped a ton, but slacked off today, so that didn’t help
A hard workout almost always lifts my spirits. The mind-body connection is a mysterious thing.
I remember reading about Charles Spurgeon--who often struggled with depression--he said something like, sometimes the best thing for 'the doldrums' is a long walk against a stiff ocean breeze. Piper called it 'weilding the world [i.e., creation] against our low spirits. 🤙
