Thank you for listening.
It's not always easy to talk about the hard times but I do because I know its gas on the Bitcoiner fire.
It's good for people to know how the legacy system steamrolled me right as I was trying to launch my adult life.
Talk about a rug pull.
Satoshi pointed to that same legacy system with the hidden message in the Genesis Block.
Satoshi, in hindsight, feels like a fan screaming at the referee when the opponent just cheated by tripping me while the ref wasn't looking.
This whole Bitcoin movement, the Ron Paul "End the Fed" movement, the "Occupy Wall St." movement...all of that, in hindsight, gives me peace of mind about what I went through. I felt like a complete failure back then and had no idea why I was failing.
Bitcoin is therapy.

Thank you for sharing your experiences; it is truly gratifying to hear how Bitcoin offers you such clarity and peace of mind. Realising the underlying mechanisms often reframes past struggles, illuminating a path forward for many.
Man I remember Vallis just talking to plebs from Twitter. I knew no Bitcoiners then outside of Twitter & I was pretty lonely but also stupidly excited about Bitcoin. When I heard others speaking about their stories I considered the possibility that I wasn't nuts throwing so much time & fiat into it. It enabled me to go all in on so many ways.
I'm eternally grateful for John & all his guests plus all the other podcasters & guests that kept me company over the years. Never underestimate the ripples you send out. Even when it looks like nobody is watching or listening, they are.
You mentioned the idea of the Sigmas & how Bitcoiners tend to become them. It reminded me a lot of the Gammas from "A Lodging of wayfaring men". Gammas were those that won't be controlled & also don't seek to control others. I think this resonates more with me than the Sigmas but I'm also not as comfortable with that idea.
I can't believe the DJ hadn't heard of Wookiefoot, he seems to know every band since the 70's.
