Dude - you have a large audience, so do the work to understand the perspective of the Knots people. It’s not a new asset - it’s the same asset we’ve always had - without the extra spam and shitcoin nonsense that Core v30 encourages. If we could just roll back to Core v29.1 all this drama would go away. So do the work to understand there are two active camps within Bitcoin Core - one believes Bitcoin is money and the other believes it should also be arbitrary data storage (that allows shitcoinery). They’ve been arguing since at least 2023 (look at the Github or dev mailing list for details) and the shitcoinery was rejected multiple times but got through in v30. All we need to do is not upgrade to v30 - or move to Knots if you want to send a message.
