Elon is so strange. On the one hand I find myself wanting to support what he claims to be trying to do. But on the other hand if you look at his resume it starts to read like our worst evil villain nightmare. Satelite grid surrounding the entire earth, superintelligent AI, buying one of the largest social media apps to turn it into the "everything app" and online bank (social credit score anyone), then teaming up with government to access the databases that link everything together... And if that wasn't enough he is literally building brain chips!

simple razor to decide whether someone is corrupt or not: do they support the use of government force to enforce their opinions on others. additionally you can ask the question whether they have became prominent through money they got by exploiting or acquiring a chunk of tax revenue. he gets a check mark on both points just like basically everyone who is promoted by all of the state sanctioned media outlets, who are also in the same position, and after covid, idk what to say. there is no conspiracy? i don't think that's a tenable position.

So few seem to get it. They all seem to despise actual freedom and only want to make themselves the new king. Many of the local leaders who were vocal near me against covid I had hoped would continue to be a voice for freedom. Instead they are just a voice for their own form of state control.
