No one is making video content for reddit, all they have is reposted videos from other platforms. It takes a lot to drag people into the doomscrolling hypnosis, Reddit has text and image content good enough for that, but videos are a completely different beast. No one is doomscrolling on the reddit video player, not even people who are doomscrolling regular reddit.
