I can't believe how good the game theory of Bitcoin is. Amazes me everyday. The block size The supply cap The difficulty adjustment (absolute genius) The ~10min block intervals The fee market The private/public keys The UTXO set The p2p network The adversarial and anti-fragile nature of it all Just incredible foresight. Never seen anything like it before.

This is why I’ll stick with John Nash being Satoshi. It’s almost so good that a total master of game theory would need to think it up…

I think its one of those things that's so brilliant, the original author(s) didn't have a concrete idea of what they're creating. Only with time did people figure out how elegant and perfectly integrated everything is.
So many years of work form so many different people rolled into just the right package to create something so perfect. It’s so hard to understand the amount of foresight that went into it. Everything even the dates for the white paper & Genesis block. Everything has its meaning.

The proof of work
So well said. Sometimes I just sit and wonder about it..for hours. Combination of all those elements that existed and were invented/developed before Satoshi came and added the final pieces and glued it all together is purely genius. #bitcoin history has to be taught more..I mean all #cypherpunks who worked on digital cash and encryption..the true Pioneers. David Chaum Adam Back Nick Szabo and many more...
