As a newbie normie, I must have missed that part of the welcoming ceremony.
Does anyone here though have a Nostr instruction manual? Preferably one written for normies.
No, if you're not into technical things dont try to understand it just use the apps & ask someone if you got any questions (you can tag me anytime). Nothing I'd the same accross all of it anyway so its pretty complex
Onboarding works when it makes the value obvious instead of burying it under instructions. Show a newcomer what they can do and why it's worth their time.
If you're stuck, send a note with #asknostr - many people available to help. Also, tell people a bit about you with #introductions

Thank you! Are we back to one shoe now? I was under the impression that following the recent security breach, the minimum verification requirement had been raised to two shoes on head. Nostr is so fragmented, itβs becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with the latest regulations!
Good point. For now one #shoeonhead is sufficient. It's better than no shoe on head. And I agree, there needs to be a new NIP to standardize the verification. I'll draft something soon.

I appreciate the clarification. However, I think Iβll wait until the new NIP is officially adopted. Iβd hate to have to repeat the entire verification process due to regulatory changes.
