💭 Some bitcoiners treat Nostr the same way nocoiners treat Bitcoin comfortable in the old system, skeptical of the new one that actually fixes the problems they complain about. If you’re a creator relying on X, you’re basically building your house on rented land. Nostr is the first place where your audience, your identity, and your content are actually yours. That’s why the hardcore bitcoiners aren’t “trying it,” they’re migrating and not looking back. It’s not about clout. It’s not about being early. It’s about opting into the protocol layer instead of the platform layer. If you can see what Bitcoin fixes, it’s wild to me that you don’t know what Nostr fixes. Maybe that sounds “deep in the weeds,” but honestly? The weeds are where the signal is. And Nostr is pure signal.
