Why is people so attached to their mother tongue language?? Mine is Spanish and I think we should communicate in English. For me, language is a tool, not my culture.

La lengua de alguna manera determina la forma de pensar
No digo que se dejen de utilizar, sino que sería muy conveniente que todos hablemos Inglés. Me gustaría poder mantener conversaciones con cualquier persona de cualquier nacionalidad que tenga cosas en común conmigo.
Indeed! And, in a way, it’s a self fulfilling wish since everyone with the same mindset would be able to communicate with you in English.

Different languages can express different things that are within yourself. Some parts only really get accessible through another language.
Learn another language beyond English and you'll see. It's a process of discovering who you are.
