This has been the cost of democracy in Spain. Before democracy, the government collected approximately 10% of GDP; currently, we exceed 50%. It has been very expensive to remove the eagle from the flag and make Spain a country without religion or morals. Fortunately, in a few years we will be Islamists again and we will put an end to the Charocracy. image nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzpl8hpfzul2qha25p8wd63gm46ufax95lfgnl8h9v84y3zt0k05m7qqsxj4ml7lzzwaz0a9htz8rpylenys2n5mc3r2kcq2jyxy5wvrqj42ghlp8fk

This is a very interesting and important point, every nation should define what percentage of GDP is the maximum tax burden of the state. This is even more important than the form of government, be it a democracy, a republic or whatever.
