telegram DMs are a bit of a red flag, understandably. my last message to you included the number "99" by way of proof ๐
Nostr DMs are insane. I sent them from Amethyst and I see them as sent in 0xchat. but @calle doesn't see them on his end... it would be one thing if they _looked_ kinda fucked from my side, but the fact that I can't tell the difference between [received by intended target] and [screaming into the void] is completely maddening.
Nostr doesnt just have one DM standard.
Theres the good one thats metadata safe.
The bad one that isn't but still encrypted.
The legacy one thats worse.
And all the other ones I either dont know or are nonstandard.
Amethyst and 0xchat to my knowledge use NIP-17 which is the good one.

I figured and thats good as thats meta data safe to my knowledge. But if a client doesn't support it the receiving user just won't see anything despite it being sent succesfully and despite it being seen if they installed a good client.
