You are not getting it. I support full decentralization. That's why my code is under MIT License. I WANT people to fork it because I believe apps MUST be opinionated. @Deleted Account can create a version of Amethyst without the filter. It's fine. We will keep having ours. Having both apps gives choices to users and that's good.

that's cool and all, but i'm thinking of the casual user who will not find the fdroid fork, the vast majority will find amethyst and your shadowban feature.

Well, hopefully, he will change the name to create a new client that has his own features and takes over from Amethyst sometime in the future. If the decisions are right, I am sure it will do.
