Well no, I specifically meant because of the disk; you need 1TB to run a node now, who has “an old laptop” with 1TB in it?
1TB is the default option if you buy a MacBook Pro today; nobody with a 5 year old laptop lying around has 1TB in it.
The RAM is another problem altogether. RaspberryPi nodes are basically dead

Yes. This is true. You need a performing machine by today’s standards. And even better if you want it to last a few years. My “premium pi” from start9 lasted 3 years lol. Well below the estimates back then 😂
