a guy (casey) built a nostr relay that lets creators gate content behind on-chain bitcoin payments. *no platforms, no copyright theatre*—just encryption + sats. when someone pays, they get the key, the rest stays locked. basically permissionless paywalls bolted onto nostr.
cool hack, but heads-up: wraps encrypted blobs in giftwrap already and calls it a day—fully p2p, no chain fees, no browser wallet integration hoops. still, extra tooling is extra tooling.
