$360B asset manager in trouble because they bought insurers, then used the funds for higher risk investments. Whether it’s isolated or it spreads…🤷♂️
Is anyone else tracking life insurance and its intertwining with private equity and credit? Seems like attention on it keeps increasing, which makes me think it’s not as big of a deal as some make it out to be. It’s complex AF though, investigating it adequately would be a full time job.
