If you need to send a message to save your life, what would an unstoppable be worth to you?

95% of people will never face this situation, compared to nearly 100% who use fiat money daily. Also, no offense to the great people of this network, but if I had to send an urgent message to save my life it would either be a phone call to a close family member or to 911.

But those who do need it, will need it very much.

It’s a cool idea which hasn’t found a broader market which it fits with. For my purposes, its value has been decreasing, since daily active users remain so low. If you’re a true freedom fighter, whatever regime you’re up against can come to your door or turn off your internet. Nostr hasn’t proven itself to have significant demand as a freedom tool in the real world. Would be happy to be wrong!

So because I can spend Bitcoin here, the network is as important/valuable as Bitcoin itself? Nope. 1% is generous btw. As of now it’s more like 0.01% as important.

Nostr is the largest and most active bootstrapped bitcoin circular economy in the world. Prove me wrong.

Be open-minded for a second and consider the possibility that I’ve thought a lot about this, have years of experience in this space, and am right. I’m not rage baiting, I genuinely believe we’ve wasted a lot of time and intellectual capital here.

Do it for god. It's out of our control to make the masses appreciate their freedom. Build for those that are already here. This is god's temple. Beauty, art and dedication all matter. Nothing ever is wasted if it is addressed to god.
