Correct. Except you can’t actually save 30% if you earn median wage here, that’s not possible with our cost of living. Specifically that even if you’re on $200k you can basically afford a dog box 1 hour out of the city (that’s where these median prices are found - close to city is all 7 figures) so there is absolutely no point in young people staying in Aus any more, you can’t get on the property ladder so there’s nothing tying people to the society any longer.
