@Moxie eyeing Petra from her tower. Miss Petra has had a respiratory infection. Got her antibiotics so she and the babies can be well. The first week has been touch and go. Moxie has never been around any other animals, and Petra has trust issues with humans. I was the only one she'd let near her. Still, when she had her babies and I had to bring her in...I got hissed at from both sides. It seems they're getting used to each other, and the babies seem to be doing well. Petra doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body, she's just not used to being loved. But she lets me pet her now. Our trust is growing, so that's wonderful progress. These aren't the best pics, but the cutest thing is that Petra is a natural bobtail and she gave birth to... a long tail... a medium tail... ...and a bobtail. She's a good mama. I'm just glad that she let me take her home to have her babies before this Arctic blast hit. #IKITAO
