I met a Dutch ski instructor back home who brought some oliebollen and kerststol to a winter party. They were quite tasty little dough balls with candied fruits inside.

olllibolla hahah. yeah. i've done two christmases in amsterdam. ollibolle and ... what was the dutch word for mulled wine... i can't remember. classic dutch christmas.
