The hate is because Primal is too good too fast and, and does so by doing things others are unwilling to do because it compromises the purity and ethos of the Nostr network. The arguments about today's thing are mostly invalid projections due to feelings of jealousy and unfairness. I'm not taking a side, I'm just telling you because I've seen this pattern.

Wait, what is primal doing exactly?
I think you are exactly right. 💯
Yes, we are willing to experiment with different tradeoffs with our caching service approach, all in the service of the user. It's debatable whether our approach compromises the purity of the network. I don't think it does, but I definitely see that argument and I am willing to steelman it. Let's have an open discussion about how Nostr can scale. Experimenting at this early stage is a good thing IMHO.
Ok, prevent your npub, @Alex Gleason and the @primal npubs from tending.
holdup, too fast? 😅
Primal is one of the slowest moving clients.
The annoyance is I don't want to fork and I don't want anyone else to. What they have is good, but they are ruining it so I'm going to use other clients. Those other clients are missing unique features I did like. All because a dev was too lazy to put in a toggle for their content filter.

Censorship
Hate? No. It's because I had too much love.
💯💯💯
Attack and spam the site, feign like you're being censored and whip your following into a frenzy. Do something constructive for fucks sake, it's not like nostr needs more attacking. It's a disgrace.
In case you don't know how collaboration works. 1) you contact the maintainers about the flaw, 2) submit bug reports and PRs, then and only then can you in good faith make a big public fuss if they've ignored you. But you didn't, so gfy.
