I am no longer a bitcoin maximalist. Shitcoins are dead or at least cynically relegated to naked money grabs. There is no need for maximalism. I am a bitcoin reductivist. I think about bitcoin only in terms of what it actually is. Bitcoin is software. Everything else is just podcast fartiness.

I have probably listened to less than 5 bitcoin Podcasts, in their entirety. I know what it is and how it does it, almost exclusively from books. Quite how bitcoin will impact, globally, in the meduim/long term, nobody knows. Anybody who says they do, is frankly, full of shit. "Influencers" fill me with rage.

What BS. Most of crypto is software and much of it is the same type of software as BTC. Some of it has distinct advantages over BTC as well such as privacy and damn good liquidity and much lower transaction costs and ..
