I'm strongly a Monero guy but I wouldn't call myself a Monero maxi 😅 (I guess it depends what you mean by maxi) more like a a maxi of the Monero spirit where ever it emerges. I originally started as a Bitcoin user and I'm still one. Theres still a subset of Bitcoiners with that same spirit. I think a handful of other coins are promising too. There really are no others that compete as a complete package imo (default privacy, critical self-examination and relentless improvement, the uncompromising ethos of the Monero community, etc). Without a doubt there are cryptocurrencies that have their own specific advantages over Monero though. Monero is also by far the most used privacy coin. There's not even a close contender.
