I ask myself everyday, why I even bother having a phone number anymore.

Literally the only reason I still have a number is that some services still insist on sending SMS verification codes 💩
It’s the worst…. I have accounts that I will never remember tied to that stupid sms number, I know your pain.
I still have one since it’s the easiest way to talk to out of town family. That and 2fa sms.
Also, my life improved when I figured out to silence unknown callers.
