I’ve got a story and I’m a bit depressed about it. I’m in a WhatsApp group of educated gen-Xers. All doing well in their particular field and scattered across the globe. Some in Australia. There’s general disgust at the terrorist attack at Bondi Beach but their response is depressing. The general call is for increased centralisation and censorship of social media and even further gun control in Australia which already has very stringent gun control laws. People will ask for the chains which governments will provide. And this is why I’m depressed.
