Agent “orchestration” is going to be a thing of the past much sooner than people realize. I see articles talking about that as if that’s going to be some skill to master but it won’t. Think a step ahead…

Good observation. I did an agent thing summer before last, went through all the prompting guides, build my own reasoning chains and ICL etc. got tool use working, knowledge graphs, artifacts and self-editing of the context, got the agents to spawn their own workflows and creat other agents.... All the things. And my conclusion was the same: fuck, I'm bullilding on sand, this all goes away. Half of it has already been absorbed into the models. The feel for working with the models is a skill to build, hard to put into words. Like you can't really learn how to surf from a book. The biggest skill you build might be just be the anthropomorphic illusion wearing off. It's a database with a text generator. Really getting that into your bones is half the game. People get mad when you try to tell them though.
