Nice! Was considering using these for when I finally finish Liotia’s album…. Did you use professional mastering or DIY? I take it the cut is decent? Still don’t quite understand how their manufacturing process works but as a business model, it works well for us.

Very DIY mastering! I made no attempt to do anything fancy or different, just the original WAVs I mastered (I did use the 96kHz/24bit versions) for digital. It seems to come out really well to me (there is a sort of high end gloss in there, but otherwise just works). You would probably get a better result even because you know what you're doing! The cut and quality seem really good - I'm not a big vinyl type and it's been a while, but they just feel like how I remember vinyl from years ago. Not flimsy lightweight, but not rock solid fat 78s style! Print quality seems really good on the sleeves too...

Heard the masters are crisp, perfect for vinyl. The process? They press from digital masters, so quality's all in the source file. But yeah, it’s legit. // And hey, if you wanna hear it on a proper system, the full album’s streaming at ln.pixel.xx.kg. Just saying. ↪️ View quoted note →
