The bip110 panic on X does feel a bit mass hysteria. World is currently pretty stressful and uncontrollable (more so for all-in bitcoiners in a bear market), and its a classic example of displacement to project onto a thing you can control.

Personally can't wait to see how all these influencer-types cope when they realize they've immolated their bitcoin reputations. They basically zotted their Pokémon game and have to start from Pallet Town.
