That seems sketchy, and I don’t think it would be very effective. What you need are a few great case studies of creators making a living from zaps (do we have that yet?) and then get them on shows like Colin & Samir and then creators will flock here. But, we also need great tools for creators, and better integration with existing tools. For example, most creators batch create their content and schedule/recycle with 3rd parties tools like Publer, Buffer, HypeFury, etc. These tools make it easier to produce and distribute content at scale. Targeting those platforms to get them to integrate with Nostr would make recruiting creators much easier because then it just becomes one more channel they turn on for their existing content schedule. However, that’s no small feat. Until last month I ran the product team for one of these platforms, and even though I’m a huge Nostr fan I couldn’t yet justify allocating resources to build a Nostr integration because none of our customers were asking for it (but a ton were asking for Bluesky, sadly). Which goes back to a lack of awareness about Nostr and our lack of a PR and marketing team (outside of our little Bitcoin niche). We need great success stories and a way to get them in front of the people who would be motivated by them. Is anyone currently doing this work?
