Luke the demagogue and his Knots apostles are trying to bully Gloria out of the maintainer role due to Core lifting OP_RETURN lomits.

Calle, the main reason I and probably many others are on the Knots side in this is because of the way the Core side talks. Pretend you're not you, and re-read that last note of yours. You're the one calling people names. You look like the bully. Its not just you. Take an objective look at almost any of these discussions - the Core side is acting like bullies. I'm just disappointed. It sucks that the first thing I say to you is this.

I'm baffled about this because the amount of hatered and insults I see from Knots maxis towards anyone who dares to speak has been insane. I've been called the worst things imaginable. It's a horde of extremist trolls. They've even sent several deaths threats to developers. Mechanic himself said "I'm not going to tell anyone to not be violent" – that's the definition of a demagogue. Definitely sounds like selective perception to me.

Does it seem as if something is using this issue to divide bitcoiners? I mean, unnaturally.... The nature of this community would make it very easy to stir things up without any kind of accountability. You're a leader, so you need to be the level headed one and explain things calmly and not get baited. Maybe make a video where you go point by point and explain your perspective. I'd like that. Just be nice. The community needs some outreach. We can't continue like this.

They come out with the new one , named ; The Core V30 CORE BITCOIN VERSION 30 #bitcoin It removes OP_RETURN limit , removed 80-byte cap on OP_RETURN and this enabling to 4MB of data per transaction by default Knots dislike this ! Can floods network With spam or adult content or porn or malware 🤯

Regardless of what you choose, if limits are lifted and people run Core 30, let's say 5% of nodes run the latest version (you can fill up one block with one jpeg) they will relay that tx, and if it gets confirmed by a miner, your node will have it. That's what is meant by "we'll rape your node". Just don't upgrade to the latest version, run 29.0.0 and set your own limits. Those who will run 30 are responsible for their choices and we can't do much about it except choosing not to run it. That's it.
