I think you've misunderstood what they are trying to achieve. The state defines your responsibilities as a parent and has authority to intervene if you do not fulfil those obligations. From what I can tell, this removes this state over reach. This is different from wanting to travel abroad, which requires a passport and setting up a trust, which requires legal processes.

100% as it should. There's an aspect of over-reach and then there is an aspect of abuse. So what is it, who will legally save an u18 who has no income, social securities etc. anyone who seemingly removes protections for children should be looked at twice imo this is regardless of hypothetical state over-reach

Without legislative power, the children are protected by the people (which includes the police), who can use common law to justify the lengths they go to in order to protect them.
