I can't think of a single service that uses a voicebot that's actually helpful (or sounds halfway natural. ) It's all stonewalling and friction until I'm finally transferred to a human. And why do they all still sound choppy and awkward? Why is this the case even beyond call centers? Google Maps navigation voices still sound like Microsoft Narrator. And none of this has changed much in the last five years if my memory serves correctly.
