I agree that we are early but I don’t like the fact that he made promises to the Bitcoin community, one being a SBR and we get a working group…
Getting a SBR legislation is going to be damn near impossible with the margins he has in congress. To me it’s a cop out. I don’t think he has mentioned bitcoin once since he has been in office. He will blame congress for not getting it done even though he could issue a EO stating the intention of the government is to hold BTC.
He is a politician and they lie all the time. Trump is no exception. Who expected this shitcoinery from him? People won’t always act like we expect them to especially when they get power. Eh oh well more corn for the rest of us.

I agree with you for the most part.
A more impactful first "crypto" EO would have frozen the seized Bitcoin and other digital assets they currently have to protect them from sale, and to designate these assets as the "SDAS".
He could then have signed another EO for the working group who would plan the future for the "Stockpile" and work towards any future acquisitions.
I think you might be missing the fact that Trump likely doesn't see the difference between Bitcoin and crypto.
He went to a "Bitcoin" conference full of shitcoiners, and told them he'd create an SBR.
He likely conflates the two, and the crypto-friendly industry leaders that are working closely with him have no incentive or care to change that.
