Expensive #surveillance infrastructure. Its really not cheap. But AI is LOYAL compared to human regime security. AI won't cry over murdered children, won't question an illegal order, and won't flee to Hong Kong and wikileak a cache of NSA files.

Expensive on the resource side, which they seem to be going on an endless debt route, but scaling the surveillance exponentially and with capabilities that would've been impossible/unpayable decades ago. And yep, loyal it seems to be.
