That’s good to hear! Where I live (Ottawa) this would be stopped by bylaw. Someone planted an open access herb garden in a fallow public space - bylaw razed it.

Cool. I’d love to see the concept take hold in Ottawa. I think the big pushback would be slippery surfaces in wintertime, leading to a hazard.
