Water season will be short this year. We're on the oldest ditch in the area and have never been shut off, but this year will test that. I flood irrigate my vineyard and don't do so often (1-2x/yr), but we have an orchard that needs it more. Additionally, I like to give the vineyard a good soak after harvest (October) because it helps for winter survival. image

Not really—vineyard stuff in my flat's more reading than doing, ha. You using it on the orchard side or across both?
Any mulch or ground cover crops? It's amazing how much moisture can be saved using these techniques and adding carbon to the soil.
