Was there battery backup for night time heating?? I run an offgrud S19. Will take about 6k in lithium cells to run it at full blast all night..
I rarely run mine at night... And I do it is tuned down to only draw ~500watts

If he can run them oil, then heat exchange to water tanks (that could be installed below ground)... Increased setup complexity.. Potentially cheaper.. Maintainance needs to be considered during design
