The email correspondence between Hal Finney and Adam Back in CRYPTO was an eye opener too. The author of the book does a great job telling the story of the cypherpunks and early math/computer nerds interested in cryptography. Anytime I get frustrated with FUD or I get bored with price I read or listen to CRYPTO again. Cryptography was considered the sole domain of Government. RSA and digital signatures proved otherwise. Just as money is considered the sole domain of member Banks and governments, Bitcoin is proving otherwise
