Yes, it is a more privacy focused OS. However, it still grants apps acces to those sensors, camera and the mic even when these apps aren't used at that moment. To have this one click button to turn them off, the procedure is the same as with android. 😉

I didn't ask about GrapheneOS. I tagged GrapheneOS accounts to enquire whether the described procedure is sensible from their POV (on GrapheneOS).
